03 : About me

Hi! My name is Tom Williams (He/Him/His).

Originally from the UK, I graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in Earth Sciences in 2020. I am now pursuing a PhD in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Brown University, where I work with Dr. Stephen Parman and Dr. Alberto Saal.

My research interests focus on the behaviour of volatile elements in volcanic processes.

Specific areas of interest include:

  • Deepening our understanding of the volatile contents of the moon.
  • Determining how noble gas ratios are affected by disequilibrium degassing.
