Hi! My name is Tom Williams (He/Him/His)
Originally from the UK, I graduated from Oxford University with an MSc in Earth Sciences in 2020. I am now pursuing a PhD in the Department of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences at Brown University, where I work with Dr. Stephen Parman and Dr. Alberto Saal.
My research interests focus on volcanic processes, but outside of research I'm an outdoor enthusiast, often found running, cycling, hiking, and skiing (climate change permitting). I also enjoy playing badminton, and have recently been persuaded to take up waterpolo!
